5 Cosmetic Trends one of Sydney’s leading injectors is seeing at the moment

There is no doubt that Cosmetic Trends are popular in Australia, but with so many treatments available that can produce similar results as each other, which one do you go for?

Here are the top five that I am seeing trending in Sydney now.

Non – Surgical Rhinoplasty

A non-surgical rhinoplasty can reshape your nose without significant downtime and without you having to go under the knife. Instead, it uses dermal filler to address inconsistencies in the shape and contour of the nose. Specifically, this type of treatment can help to straighten your nose, enhance the nasal tip, fill in any flattened areas, smooth out and refine the shape and profile.  Although there are always risks with any medical procedure, the downtime with a non-surgical rhinoplasty is typically minimal.

Noses are the centre of the face and are one part of the body that can really shake someone's confidence. For those who don’t like to be photographed because of their nose, this treatment is great. I would always recommend trying something that is minimally invasive before going under the knife.

Radio-Frequency Micro-needling

Radio-Frequency Micro-needling is extremely popular right now for both the face and body, and in my experience, it produces some amazing results.

The procedure essentially uses a combination of tiny needles and radiofrequency waves to help rejuvenate the skin. There is a literal plethora of clinical studies and evidence underpinning the use of Radio-Frequency Micro-needling and the results are excellent.  The treatment works by causing multiple micro-thermal injuries to the deep and superficial layers of the skin, your skin reacts to these injuries producing collagen and elastin resulting in skin rejuvenation through the stimulation of skin to repair the damaged area. The result includes improving the look of wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars and more.

Biomodulators

Biomodulators are a brilliant add-on for skin hydration and collagen production. They are also often used to help combat acne scars. This walk-in / walk-out treatment is achieved by injecting biomodulator into the skin thereby stimulating collagen production. Unlike dermal fillers, Biomodulators work to recruit collagen-producing cells, and they can be combined with other treatments to enhance the effect.

The idea is that this treatment is designed to stimulate your innate collagen-producing cells to increase the manufacture of collagen which in turn helps to improve the texture, tone, hydration and thickness of your skin.

PICO Laser treatments

As we age, pigment and sun damage can become a problem for many of us. The PICO Laser is a great option for both reducing pigment and stimulating collagen. Best of all, there is low downtown, and unlike many lasers, it is relatively safe on darker skin types. It is also a great treatment for reducing fine lines and wrinkles, evening our skin tone and improving the overall quality of our skin.

The PICO laser delivers very short pulses of energy into the skin which breaks up pigmentation and then works to stimulate the production of collagen.

Threadlifting

A thread lift is essentially a cosmetic treatment that offers a minimally invasive alternative to a facelift. It is used to lift and tighten skin.

The procedure involves the insertion of dissolvable sutures underneath your skin, which will work to both lift sagging skin and increase collagen production in the deep tissue. Once the thread is inserted, your body’s healing response is then triggered. The collagen produced from the trigger then works to lift and tighten the sagging skin. Once the threads are inserted, you may feel some pressure of tightening of the skin. Common areas where this is done is in the jowls or jawline and neck.
