The new business from serial entrepreneur Yen Japney that aims to make women feel their best through fashion
Founder of Curve Sculpting, Yen Japeny was only 10 months old when she made the move to Australia with her mother. They were financially challenged growing up, and spoke no english. However this was a blessing in disguise for Yen, as seeing her mother work hard and taking on 2-3 jobs to support the family, it was embedded in Yen that in order to live a comfortable life, you must work hard. Having a really challenging childhood growing up made her value personal development and that led to starting her own business.
At 23 years old, Yen started her first business, however it wasn’t a success as she spent too much time on packaging and the cost of products became too expensive, so she wasn’t able to make a profit. Her second business made $90k in 3 months. And in 2 short years made over $1million in sales.
Yen is now the founder of Curves Sculpting (Her third business), which has revolutionised the waist trainer with a design that moulds perfectly to the body. Made from comfortable latex with a cotton lining, the waist trainer will sculpt your curves, flatten the stomach, while accentuating your waist and hips. It is also designed with a curve underbust to not push your bust too high like many other waist trainers do.
Yen doesn’t regret her first two businesses as she has learnt a lot, and now owns a very successful business, with people like Cathy Evans from MAFS, Sarah Harris on Instagram, Kelly McCarren wearing her brand.
