This fabulous coconut rough treat has no refined sugar, dairy or gluten. The perfect healthy treat, and also the ideal Easter treat!
1 cup activated almonds
1/2 cup raw carob powder
4 medjool dates
1 1/2 cups desiccated coconut
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/4 c water
pinch himalayan salt
1 cup activated pecan nuts
2/3 cup raw carob powder
4 tsp stevia
2 TBS coconut oil
5 TBS warm water
- Place almonds and dates into a high powered blender. Mix to a fine crumble.
- Add other ingredients and stir through
- Press into a lined slice tin and place in the fridge whilst you make the topping
- Place nut from the topping in a high powered blender and mix to a fine crumble
- Add remaining ingredients and stir through
- Spread topping onto the base
- If you wish, sprinkle some coconut over the top and return to the fridge for a few hours until set
