PB&J Nice Cream - My favourite sweet treat without the guilt! Full of fibre to keep your digestive system in smooth sailing mode and the bananas provide a great source of potassium for fluid balance within the body and magnesium for muscle health.
Easy Quinoa Muffins - These muffins are a great way to use up leftover cooked grains, whether it be quinoa, brown rice, freekeh, anything! High in protein thanks to the eggs and quinoa, your body breaks down these proteins into amino acids to make new proteins including hormones and enzymes, vital for almost every function within the body! Amazing right?!
Orange Blossom and Macadamia Blondies - These are seriously gorgeous for morning tea with a nice hot cuppa. Bursting with flavour, the macadamias provide a good source of monounsaturated fat for heart health and maintaining healthy cholesterol levels. The oat flour contains beta-glucan, a soluble fibre, known for it's ability to reduce cholesterol levels. Phenomenal nutrition in bite size!
Turkey Meatballs Turkey is not all that common in Australia but it is really yummy and quite inexpensive compared to other more popular meats, making this meal perfect if you're on a budget. Once again, nice and high in protein, and you can add any veggies you like to this to bulk it up and have leftovers for lunch the next day.
