Pepitas, also known as pumpkin seeds, are an awesome snack because a very small amount can fill you up. They contain a wide range of nutrients from manganese, to magnesium and copper. They are a nutritional powerhouse wrapped in a very small package.

Pepitas are great for your heart health, immune system and they are rich in plant based omega 3 fatty acids. They also contain Tryptophan, which can help promote a restful sleep.


Raspberries extremely low in fructose and calories while being antioxidant rich, containing the likes of Vitamin C, Gallic acid and guercetin which are known to help in the fight against cancer, age related decline and circulatory disease. Raspberries are also high in an ellagic acid that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.

Try to enjoy a handful a day or eat healthy snacks that contain raspberries in them to reap the benefits.

Coconut Chips

Coconut is incredibly nutrient rich, and high in fiber, vitamins and minerals.

Almonds are high in healthy fats, fiber, protein, vitamin E, manganese and magnesium as well as Copper, B2 and phosphorous.

While they are high in fat, they are extremely healthy, have high antioxidant content and may assist with controlling blood sugar levels and with weight loss.

Goji Berries

Goji berries are high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. They have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for over 2, 000 years with some legends suggesting that they were eaten by Monks to help aid meditation and obtain greater health, longevity, energy and stamina.

Goji berries are low in calories, fat free and may help fight off disease, manage your weight and help you experience better digestion. They are usually eaten raw, dried or in liquid form
