Sharing Bali Body Transformers Retreat

The team of new friends made on the retreat.  Lifetime memories!

I have just returned from a fabulous 6-day fitness retreat in Bali, known as the Bali Transformers Retreat at Sharing Bali.

Words cannot explain this simple yet stunning retreat space, the exquisite food, fabulous vibe and lifetime memories that were made.

About Sharing Bali...

Family owned and run by Karen and her husband Wayan, this retreat space is authentic and will have you relaxing into a simple healthy life fairly soon after arriving at their beautiful land which overlooks the river and mountains.

The retreat space is described by Karen as simple luxury.  In my words, it's also pure bliss.  An opportunity to reflect, spend time 'in the moment' and focus on your health and wellbeing.

The private villas are beautiful, with an outdoor bathroom, fresh ginger & lemongrass tea replenished daily and an abundant supply of fresh water to drink.

Jo Sharp of Sharp Moves is an expert Pilates & Fitness trainer based in Sydney and has over 18 years experience in the Fitness Industry. Jo leads the Body Transformers Retreat, and makes all the fitness activities a lot of fun!

Jo is an expert at making people feel comfortable, yet also has the participants training harder or doing activities they may not have tried elsewhere. We exercised more than I have ever in my life! I know why it’s called the Body Transformation Retreat!

Many of the people that come along to this retreat have also done the Michelle Bridges 12 week body transformation program. Although this is the case, everyone and anyone is welcome to attend these regular retreats.

Retreat activities included:

  • Pilates
  • Yoga
  • Bike Riding
  • Jungle Trekking
  • Volcano Climbing
  • Circuit Training
  • Spa Treatments
  • Beautiful Clean Healthy Food
  • Early Nights
  • Early Mornings
  • Plus so much more….

The vibe of the retreat is fun, friendly and encouraging. Almost everyone has their own personal challenge when attending the retreat - whether it’s the exercise in general, spending time away from their family, climbing...

For me, my challenge was spending time away from my family (I haven’t spent more than 2 nights away from my home since having children – who are now 8 & 9 years old). My other challenge was my fear of heights – which I’m happy to say I pushed through!

Couldn’t have said it better myself Alison. It was a life changing experience for me. As a 12wbtr – it had everything I wanted and more. I was challenged in so many ways and enjoyed each one of them! For anyone who is thinking about this – book right now! I promise you that you will not regret it xo
