Didi was a Chef in Byron Bay on a mission to bring delicious, healthy food to the masses.
In 2003, well ahead of the trend, Didi started Soulfresh with a refrigerated van. Taking to the streets, Didi sold his favourite Byron Bay health brands to Melbourne cafes at a time when swapping soft drinks for a kombucha seemed an impossible feat.
After working in the food & beverage industry for several years, Didi was inspired to venture out on his own, handcrafting a brand that would benefit consumers. Now, 15 years on, oat milk, meatless-meat burgers & kombucha are staples in many Australian households, with Soulfresh products featuring in fridges & pantries across the country.
Didi’s vision for innovation in food development has led to the expansion of Soulfresh from a Distributor to Product Development, with 9 brands of its own spanning multiple categories; from kombucha & plant-based milks to kefir & vegan chocolate. Brands include Nutty Bruce, Lo Bros Kombucha, Wildly Good and more.
Didi has set the standard; proving that food can be both healthy & delicious. Whilst health & sustainability is a priority across the entire Soulfresh range, it is flavour that drives the innovation.
As a leader in the health space, Didi is always striving to empower consumers to make more conscious choices. Didi believes the best way to do this is by providing information, as well as purposefully crafting a product range that supports wellbeing.
Soulfresh is more than a product range, it is a movement. Didi has disrupted the mainstream food & beverage market by providing an extensive range of healthy alternatives, re-shaping the way people eat & drink.
