The pivotal moment came during Ukraine's tragic events in 2022, prompting Valerie to dedicate herself to empowering others through art therapy. Valerie is a transpersonal Art Therapist registered with ANZACTA and Holistic Therapists Australia, brings an art background with a Master of Visual Communication and a Bachelor of Visual Arts into a mission to connect people to themselves through the powerful medium of art therapy. 

As the Founder of Active Kreative, Valerie's innovative platform aims to guide individuals toward leading meaningful, colourful lives through creativity. Active Kreative is more than just a business—it's a sanctuary for self-expression and healing. Art therapy harnesses the power of creativity to explore emotions, alleviate stress, and promote personal growth. It provides a safe space for individuals to express themselves through various artistic modalities, guided by a trained therapist like Valerie. Beyond entrepreneurship, she actively runs a Ukrainian Refugee Group, providing psychological support and stress management to impact the lives of those in the community.
