Optimising workplace partnerships with Teamwork Tools

As isolation restrictions ease, businesses are preparing themselves to get back to speed as best as possible before the end of financial year.

More than ever, embracing work collaboratively amongst teams helps with greater creative thinking for new & existing ideas, finding structure, processes & revenue streams to best suit your business and move ahead.

For many years, I’ve used Post-it notes & Easel Pad sheets. In addition, Post-it have a fabulous range of Teamwork Tools to help any sized team; whether you’re working remotely or in the Office.

Below are a list of tools that I personally love to help with the bigger picture in Business:

Super Sticky Notes - I love these so much I need to buy some more. I have them in the orginal bright square that everyone knows (love the bright colours), however I also have super sticky notes with lines on them. Great for being a bit more structured with jotting down notes & to-do tasks.

I have them stuck on my computer, desk and wall. I also carry a pack in my handbag too, then stick them on the back of my phone when an idea strikes. That way, a thought-bomb never goes missing or forgotten!

For the notes I stick on the back of my phone, I then transfer this information to the relevant spot when back in the office (ie: shared dropbox folder / wall chart).

Easel Pads – I’ve only recently started using these in the past couple of years. The super sticky easel pad can be stuck to the wall. I especially love this as you can tear off a sheet which can then be transferred anywhere as it has a sticky strip at the top, exactly like the original super sticky notes. Everyone needs these in their office. They come in handy all the time and are great for in-person and online meetings!

The other easel pad I have is the super sticky table top pad. This is the same as the previous mentioned, however you can stand it on the desk/ meeting table. Both are absolutely fabulous to use for any type of teamwork, creating flow-charts / big ideas. (This is shown in the image with Big Ideas begin Here written on it)

Dry Erase - Again, I’ve been using these for just over a year - unsure why I hadn’t discovered them sooner as they are fabulous and also eliminate the need for having a big cumbersome whiteboard. The roll can be turned out on any surface, whether that’s a desk or wall to become your whiteboard surface. There are instructions for where to stick.

I have also taken the Dry Erase with me when travelling for work. Having an instant whiteboard is great - plus I often stick my Post-it Notes to the surface at times too. Great for collaborative meetings!

Big Notes – I’ve only just started using these this year. They are great for big ideas, & slightly smaller than the Easel Pad. Perfect for wireframes / concepts / working designs & fuelling ideas. (shown in the image above, the yellow one in my hand)

At this time of year in the lead up to EOFY, I squeeze in all my last minute expenses. This obviously includes topping up on stationery supplies, teamwork tools as mentioned above, computer accessories (USB sticks / cables) etc. Making the most of tax deductible items at this time of year is smart operating.

One last tip which I know you’ll love……. there is a Post-it App which helps to capture your ideas & share with your team remotely without any delays. You can find more info here.
